The Bump in the Road


Ok so today was a little shit. I started out by just programming some simple AI. It was all well and good but then the collision detection was being funky again. Sometimes the player wouldn’t respawn when he was supposed to. I’m guessing it was because the enemy was where the ball was supposed to spawn. So that problem won’t be too hard to solve. I will just have to push back enemies in the spawn radius or kill them or something. I kept messing around but got another big problem. When I would hit the enemies sometimes they wouldn’t move back. My guess is that I changed their movement script. The first one I had just moved the transform but the second one moved the rigidbody. I think that the rigid body will act weird if it’s trying to move while being hit. I decided that I will re-do the AI tomorrow. I scraped my first AI script by putting it in the shadow realm. I guess for tonight I will make some better enemy sprites and then play Animal Crossing to clear my head.
